The Summer Olympic Games is a global sporting event that occurs every 4 years. It has been hosted on every continent except Africa (and Antarctica if you count that as a continent to host a sporting event). Even though the first event will be the Youth Olympics in Dakar, Senegal, how would Africa fair with the global event if it happened in the motherland?
